Our Wednesday Evenings…

On Wednesday nights here in Cochabamba we host a one-hour study and wor­ship ser­vice in English. The idea is this: the Christian com­mu­nity, and par­tic­u­larly the mis­sion­ary com­mu­nity, spends Sundays (and most of the week) min­is­ter­ing to other peo­ple — Bolivian churches, orphan­ages, etc. Our Wednesday evening is a time when those peo­ple can gather together and be min­is­tered to. Surrenduring

I have a very mixed audi­ence of friends, here, and so I am try­ing to do away with the jar­gon that I’m famil­iar with and explain this in more sim­plis­tic terms. I’ve decided that it’s time for me to join a church. For as long as I can remem­ber, I have had an absolute knowl­edge in the pres­ence of God.
